The Tegernsee you know and love in a light 2.8% edition. We fell in love with this when we visited Tegernsee itself and knew we had to get it over here!


Priority 1-2 day Weekday Shipping:
We charge a standard shipping fee of £4.95 or £7.95, depending on the size and weight of your order, for orders to the UK mainland. This is calculated at checkout. We use the APC Transexpress/DHL overnight services, as we believe they offer the best, most reliable service. HB&B subsidises all shipping costs to keep the price as low as possible, but it may still work out slightly more expensive than some other courier services – however, it offers your purchases the best chance of arriving in one piece!

We can deliver to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands for £20.95. We regret that we cannot deliver internationally.

Orders placed before 12pm Mon-Fri will be dispatched on the same day. Orders placed at weekends will be dispatched on the next working day. The vast majority of priority service orders are received the following working weekday but please allow up to 3 working days in the event of an unexpected delay with the courier service. APC/Transexpress/DHL will provide you with tracking information and options should you need to rearrange delivery. Any questions regarding your delivery, please get in touch.

Same Day Delivery (weekdays, London only):
This premium across-town service is available for London-based customers who need their order ASAP. Orders received before 5pm will be dispatched the same day; orders received after 5pm will be dispatched the following day. Costs are automatically calculated based on distance and time of day, and usually delivered within three hours.

Free local delivery - zero emission (1-3 days):
This delivery option is free for online orders of £40 and over for customers in postcodes closest to our Peckham and Deptford shops (see below). We hand-deliver all of our local orders in our new 100% electric, zero emissions van! If your postcode is within our delivery areas, this option will be shown at the checkout. Your order will be delivered on the following Monday, Wednesday or Friday. For example if you order on a Tuesday you can expect your order to arrive on Wednesday. If you need same-day shipping, please see above. Please note that due to demand, we may have to occasionally close off local delivery slots temporarily. If this is the case, please check back in later.

Postcodes that qualify for local delivery include those close to our Peckham Rye/East Dulwich shop: SE5, SE15, SE21, SE22, SE23, SE24 and NEW - SE17, SE19, SE20, SE26, SE27, SW2 and SW9; and those close to our Deptford shop: SE3, SE4, SE6, SE8, SE10, SE13, SE14, SE16 and NEW - SE7. Free UK shipping:
All orders over £75 have free priority shipping (UK Mainland only, excluding Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland).

Pick Up (Peckham/Deptford shops):
Click & collect is back! Local customers can now choose to collect from our East Dulwich Road shop - you'll find the Pick Up tab on the Delivery page in the check out. After your pick up order is placed, we will be in touch to let you know when your order is ready to collect - please note that there may be a delay for Deptford pick-ups as we need to transfer stock from our Peckham branch).

Our collection hours are strictly 4-7pm Monday-Friday and 12-6pm Saturday and Sunday in Peckham and Wed-Fri 4-7pm and Saturday-Sunday 12-6pm in Deptford) - alas we cannot offer collection outside of these times. We operate a no-contact collection service - when you arrive, please wait behind the yellow lines and have your order number and/or name ready for our staff. A reminder too that we cannot hold orders for collection for longer than 7 days unless by prior arrangement.

Save My Order for Future Sending:
This option is only for if you wish to buy multiple orders and get them shipped together. It lets you swoop in and buy those limited-edition specials while you can, then set them aside until you're ready to get the order on the road. Add your products to your basket, then go through to the checkout where you'll see "Save My Order for Future Shipping" in the shipping options. Select this, then complete your order, and we'll set these products aside for you. You can then add to your shipment by making more orders. Once you're ready to send, let us know by adding a note to your order or emailing us - we'll then either send you a shipping invoice, or if it's over our free shipping threshold, we'll get it on a courier. Freshness is imperative to us, so please note we can only compile multiple orders for 10 days unless by prior arrangement.


We use thick walled cardboard boxes and paper padding for most orders - we try to avoid plastic wherever possible but will sometimes reuse bubble wrap and biodegradable chips from goods that have been sent to us.


Very occasionally, an order may arrive damaged due to courier mishandling. We prefer to offer credit on these very rare occasions rather than use wasteful packaging on every delivery. If your delivery arrives damaged, please send us a photo of the package and broken contents, and we will arrange a credit or, if practical, a replacement.

If you have changed your mind about your order, please contact us ASAP via email or telephone (+44 20 7450 0284) within 14 working days. We regret that due to the nature of our products (designed to be consumed fresh), we are unable to offer refunds after 14 days. The items must be then be returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days to receive a refund. Ensuring the safe return of the package and postage cost will be the responsibility of you, the customer. 

Title is retained with Hop Burns & Black Ltd until payment in full is received, and until you, the customer, takes final delivery of the goods.

We make every effort to supply goods as shown on our web site, however occasionally we do have to substitute products for an alternative of equal or greater value, where a valid substitute is available. In the event this needs to happen, we will always attempt to contact you first.
