Tilquin

Tilquin, founded by bioengineer Pierre Tilquin in 2009, is the only lambic blendery located in the French-speaking region of Wallonia, Belgium. A "blendery" differs from a traditional brewery in that it purchases young, un-aged lambic from established producers and then ages, blends, and bottles the beer on-site. Tilquin is renowned for meticulously selecting and blending lambics from some of the most respected names in the industry, including Cantillon, Boon, Girardin, and Lindemans. By carefully combining one, two, and three-year-old lambics, they create their signature Oude Gueuze Tilquin à l'Ancienne. They also produce an exceptional range of fruited lambics using fresh, whole fruit. The result is a portfolio of spontaneous fermentation beers that are complex, balanced, and a true expression of traditional Belgian craftsmanship.
