In March, Hop Burns & Black and beer and food writer Claire Bullen published The Beer Lover’s Table: Seasonal Recipes and Modern Beer Pairings, bringing together amazing food with the perfect beer to go alongside. That same week, our chef friend Tim Anderson, founder of Nanban London, published his third book, Tokyo Stories, a journey through the boulevards and backstreets of Tokyo via recipes both iconic and unexpected. It was only natural that we would all join forces in the form of a one-night-only beer and food feast: The Beer Lover’s Tokyo Table.
Join us on Tuesday 23rd July at Kanpai London's taproom at Copeland Park in Peckham for a five-course beer and food pairing dinner. Tim has taken inspiration from Claire’s recipes and put an inimitable Tokyo Stories twist on them, while Claire and the HB&B team have paired each course with the perfect beer. It promises to be a night like no other.
