New York, Brew York

We had the ultimate busman's holiday last week - a trip to New York to enjoy the best of their beer (and the odd hot sauce and music) destinations. Five days devoted to drinking beer... well, it's no surprise we had a fantastic time.

You can check out some of the many, many beers we drank over at Glenn's Untappd profile (and, if you're lucky enough to be in the shop when we tap the muled cans we brought back in our luggage, perhaps enjoy some with us).

Good beery folk offered us loads of suggestions, meaning we had a huge number of places to see - so many, we had to make a Google map to make sense of them all. Big thanks to the Tasty Beverages crew, our friends Jonathan Horner, Mitchell Hall and James Walters, Cory Smith from Good Beer Hunting and beer writer Josh Bernstein (thanks Matt Curtis) for all their awesome tips.

We were also extremely lucky to spend an afternoon drinking with Torst/Evil Twin's Mike Amidei at Brouwerij Lane in Greenpoint. The wonderfully generous Mike not only shared an obscene amount of next-level beers with us, but also his own Google Map of NYC drinking hot spots, many of which are included in our map which you're welcome to check out here.

New York, New York - so good they named it twice. Need another holiday, stat.
